The Ford Endeavor is straight competition to the Mahindra Alturas G4, Toyota Fortuner and newly launched Skoda Kodiaq.
The interesting thing to be noted here is that the Ford Endeavour is available only in Diesel engine variant with a 2.2-liter engine and 3.2-liter engine options. Ford is offering Endeavour only in Rear wheel drive option.
The Ford Endeavour is offered in total of 3 variants which comprise of Titanium 2.2 4×2 manual transmission 2198 cc engine with an ARAI approved mileage of 14.2 km/l, Titanium Plus 3.2 4×2 automatic transmission 2198 cc engine with a mileage of 12.62 km/l. the additional variant of Titanium Plus 3.2 4×4 automatic transmission 3198 cc gives similar mileage as another automatic variant.
Ford Endeavour Price
Ford Endeavour price starts from Rs. 28.19 lacs (ex-showroom price) for the Titanium 2.2 and goes up to Rs. 32.97 lacs for Titanium Plus 3.2.
Ford Endeavour Features
The 2019 Ford Endeavour gets an all new blacked out HID headlamp set with daylight running LED lamps. The first in class segment is the virtual pedal below the rear bumper which can be used to open the boot in case the hands are not free. The interior is refreshed with new black and beige combination of dual tone replacing the earlier combination of brown and black. The Ford Endeavour finally gets a push start-stop button and keyless entry making it even with others in the segment.

The Ford Endeavour faces an intense competition from Toyota Fortuner which is sales leader however, Ford keeps a monthly target of 500 units, and it creeps up to that margin, so the update is expected to give a significant rise to the sales and attract entry level customers with the conjunction of 2.2 engine with manual transmission. The Ford cars is trying to bring new SUVs to compete with existing models in segment and Ford Endeavour shall decide the course of further Ford India operations.
